Hadhrat Ayesha Siddiqa (Her Life and Words)
Umma al Mu’ minin ‘A’ishah Siddiqah Life and Works
Written By: Allamah Syed Sulaiman Nadvi Mumtaz Moin
Paperback 96ages , Darul Ishaat, Pakistan
Hadhrat Aayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) who carried the name of Siddiqa was addressed as the mother of Believers. She had no children, her father was Abu Bakr (The Fist Khalif) and her mother was Umm Roman, Extraordinary people reveal their greatness from their earliest years. Aayesha was no exception, her manners were sublime.
The life of Aishah is proof that a woman can be far more learned than men and that she can be the teacher of scholars and experts. Her life is also proof that a woman can exert influence over men and women and provide them with inspiration and leadership
Syed Sulaiman Nadvi, a noted historian and scholar, has written this marvelous book based on the most authentic sources about the life of the Prophet’s wife Ayesha Siddiqa, may Allah be pleased with her. She became one of the most important reporters of Hadith. Both men and women came to learn about Islam from her. Her life shows how a Muslim woman can use her intelligence and scholarship to make enormous contributions to the cause of Islam.
We felt the need to compile the merits of ‘ Aishah, to make clear to the Muslims her weight in excellence, and to shed light on the life of piety that she led. We seek to emphasize that she will asways remain on a high and lofty degree. Regardless of the claims of the disbelievers, heretics and hypocrites, the true believer in allah and His Messenger(saw) know the futility of senselessness of their arguments. Indeed the true believer loves, honours and defends those whom Allah and His Messenger (saw) loved. this is our creed and stance and it will remain so until Allah inherits the earth and all those herein.
So read the virtues of this great woman and her suiperiority over other womaen and indeed many great men too. how wishful that the Muslim woment of today imitate her ! indeed the Muslim society would flourish and be more prosperous if the likes of her are borrn and raised. She is our mother, our mentor, the one chosen for the Prophet (saw) by the Creator.
This beautiful book contains questions and answers about the lives of the Mothers of Faithful Believers (Ummahaatu’l Mu’minin -The Blessed Wives of the Beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him).
Question and answer is an effective method of teaching. It has been recognized since long ago, and even Prophet Muhammad (S) has adopted it to teach his Companions.
A Muslim reader who wishes to learn & check his knowledge about his own religion, without the labor of formal learning and research, can confidently make use of such acollection of questions and answers as this.
